France and francophone artists will be well-represented at the 2015 edition of Coachella scheduled for April 10th-19th. If you’re unfamiliar with these French stars, check out the links to their videos below. Love them already? Catch them while they’re in sunny Indio, California.
DJ Snake will be performing on April 10th and 17th. Check out his singles Bird Machine (think planes and birds sharing airspace with throbbing bass) and Turn Down for What with a video featuring aggressive twerking and has over 150 million views on YouTube.
Yelle will be performing on April 11th and 18th. She recorded her hit singles Je veux te voir and Parle à ma main a few years ago with Michael Youn. She’s back a little older but with the same unbeatable energy.
David Guetta (of Dangerous fame) will be there on April 12th and 19th and on the same dates will be Madeon. He is barely 20 but this prodigy of house and electronic music has already had 27 million views for his mesmerizing live mashup Pop culture.
If there’s one pop star of the moment in France it’s surely Belgian singer Stromae (Papaoutai, Alors on danse), who will also perform at Coachella. He’ll be closely followed by DJ Gesaffelstein (Pursuit), Martin Sloveig (Hello) will follow close behind and then Cedric Gervais, the Miami DJ who won a Grammy last year for his remix of Lana Del Rey’s Summertime Sadness.
