Gad Elmaleh Returns to NYC for Town Hall Shows this November

A man holding a sign

Gad Elmaleh proves once again that he can breeze easily into any of the biggest American performance venues to adoring crowds. After his sold-out premiere at Carnegie Hall last February, France’s favorite comic returns to the stage of The Town Hall in New York.

He’ll take the stage twice on Saturday, November 18th, once at 7:00pm and again at 9:30pm. (Tickets are already on sale and selling fast.) For those concerned about all the blagues they won’t understand, this multilingual humorist will be performing in English. (Elmaleh speaks French, English, Arabic, and Hebrew.) According to Elmaleh’s website, he’ll be performing his stand up show, “Oh My Gad”.

Elmaleh’s large American following can be credited to his move to NYC in 2015. After a stint at Joe’s Pub in 2015 where Elmaleh sold out more than 50 shows, he embarked on an English stand up tour through the US.

The announcement of the Town Hall shows came shortly after the announcement of a joint show with Jerry Seinfeld (whom Elmaleh is often compared to) at the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montréal on July 26th. Elmaleh also recently announced a series of five shows in Washington D.C. at DC Improv, running October 19-21.
