Dominique Ansel Has a Pop-Up with Yann Couvreur in Paris This Weekend

First Cédric Grolet came to the U.S. for a pop-up with Dominique Ansel. Now, the French expat chef takes a trip to France for his own pop-up.

Ansel, best known for creating the Cronut, will be bringing his iconic pastries to Paris for the very first time at a pop-up with French pastry chef Yann Couvreur in Le Marais. From May 17 to 19, Ansel’s famous creations, including the Cookie Shot (€5.00) and Frozen S’mores (€7.50), will be on sale in Yann Couvreur Patisserie. He’ll be debuting a new pastry, the Pretzel (€8.50), a cake inspired by New York’s soft pretzels, with pretzel, peanut butter, and caramel flavors. It’s the first time the cake has been served, and it won’t be available in the U.S. until later this summer.

Mini madeleines will be provided complimentary to anyone who comes in the shop while supplies last. Pastries will also be available while supplies last.
