The French hate their presidents in office but love to read their books once they’re out of office. Released last June, “Passions,” Nicolas Sarkozy’s memoire, published in French by Observatoire, has been topping sales charts.

After having increased the number of signing sessions in France, the former president is coming to New York. He will be at the Albertine bookshop on November 19, starting at 11 a.m., to sign his book. The book is available for purchase at Albertine. Admission is free, no registration required.
