Americans Try to Guess the Meanings of French Expressions

The French language is inarguably a rich one, full of history, tradition, beautiful metaphors and exquisite expressions. But not every expression is elegant or poetic. “Avoir le cul bordé de nouilles” means “to have your butt surrounded by noodles.” Is that elegant? No. Poetic? That depends on what it means.

We asked Americans to guess the meaning of French expressions and decide if it made sense or not… and the responses were hilarious.
