Reason #4 — You’ll never get tired of his laugh
We can’t stop watching this adorable clip of him losing it in an interview. He seriously cannot stop laughing while being asked about his own success.
Reason #5 — He’s sensitive
In an interview regarding his selection to be the defender for Les Bleus, he said, “I’m not going to lie to you, I cried.” We love his candor, and we’ll let him cry on our shoulders any day. (Try not to get emotional while watching him tear up when his parents tell him that they’re proud.)

Reason #6 — He’s humble
Holding a World Cup title at the age of 22, he’s got a lot to brag about, but he’s managed to stay humble. In an interview, he states, “I haven’t forgotten where I came from.” His visit to his hometown Jeumont serves as proof.

All jokes aside, Benjamin Pavard just has that all around nice guy vibe. He’s got great hair, a nice smile, and exudes take-him-home-to meet-your-mom energy. Plus, we’re suckers for a French accent. On a Benjamin Pavard!
