FIAF Screens the Paris Opera & Ballet’s ‘Samson et Dalila’ Live in New York

Want to see a French opera, but can’t jet off to Paris for the weekend? Fear not — Paris Opera & Ballet and French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) bring the opera to you with their live HD screening of Camille Saint-Saëns’ opera Samson et Dalila on Sunday, June 24 at 1:00 PM.

The opera, based on the biblical tale of Samson and Delilah from the Book of Judges in the Old Testament, remains one of the most popular and often performed in France.

Paris Opera & Ballet present their 2016 production of Samson et Dalia with Phillipe Jordan as music director and staging by Damiano Michieletto. The opera stars Anita Rachvelishvili and Aleksandrs Antonenko, a duo sure to leave you breathless.
