Bastille Day returns to Washington, DC with an evening full of good food and music, organized by the Comité Tricolore. Join us on Friday, July 11th at 6 pm at the Maison Française to celebrate the French Fête Nationale in a classic French bistro atmosphere.
This year’s event will focus on gastronomy, with a buffet inspired by Parisian brasseries: cheese platters, charcuterie, regional specialities and emblematic desserts will be offered by renowned chefs and local partners. French wine will be in abundance, with a carefully curated selection, as well as a cocktail bar.
Like every year, a dozen French restaurants, bakeries, and other businesses are taking part in the evening: 2941 Restaurant, Bastille Brasserie & Bar, Boulangerie Christophe, Congressional Club, Cuisine Solutions, Karahiyo The Finest Espresso Martini, Labonne Daniel, La Chaumière, Lebanese Taverna, Le DeSales DC, Le Monde des Crêpes, Olivia Macaron, Pollak Vineyards, Ris, and Unconventional Diner.
Live music with French and international touches will be provided. To complete the experience, a raffle will feature top tier prizes, including airline tickets and gourmet dinners.
Profits from the evening will be donated to charities supported by the French association. Expect to pay between $140 and $200 per person.
