For those who are in search of gift ideas à la française, the French Holiday Market is coming to Saratoga in the Bay Area of San Francisco, on Saturday, December 15.
Organized by Flavors of France (creator of the popular French Fair), the free event will bring together some forty vendors and artists who will bring the magic of French Christmas to life. The foodies will find their happiness among 14 stands of culinary specialities (crêpes, gaufres, tartes flambées, BBQ, cassoulet, etc.). A bouncy castle will be set up for the kids and Santa Claus himself will be on site to pose for pictures. Singer Gaelle Boudier will set the mood with her Christmas carols and French folk songs.
