If you like interesting music, world famous musicians, or French music, listen up: French singer Jain is back in North America this fall for a tour, with performances in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington D.C., and two in New York City.

Toulouse’s Jeanne Galice (her real name) has become an international sensation thanks to her hit “Come,” which has 84 million views on YouTube. At the Victoires de la Musique awards ceremony in 2016, she was nominated for Album Révélation of the Year, and the year after, she won the award for Female Artist of the Year. She also won Music Video of the Year for “Makeba” in 2017.

The globetrotting singer, who sings mostly in English, was discovered by her current manager on MySpace. Her music is influenced by the time she spent growing up in different countries such as Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, France, and Congo.

After being nominated for a 2018 Grammy Award, she went back into the studio to work on her next album with singer Yodelice, a supporter since her debut. She just released her new single “Alright.”
