If you’re looking for some fresh new music to start your year off right, look no further.
Minou, the French pop duo comprised of two musicians who have known each other since high school, Pierre Simon and Sabine Quinet, have created a sound that will make you feel like dancing, whether you’re listening to them in the car, while doing the dishes, or at a gathering of friends (where you will impress everyone with your French music tastes).
Their EP, called Alphalove, was released in 2016 so many people still haven’t heard of the duo, even though they have been making music in other bands since 2011.
Simon and Quinet have an alternative rock sound; the two sing in excellent harmony to synth and guitar sounds, creating foot-tapping songs that can bring up anyone’s mood.
