This show about talent agents in Paris is a vast departure from the entertainment industry shows Americans are used to, which typically end with someone famous for the wrong reasons, another person in rehab, and a third off in the suburbs somewhere after being blacklisted from the business. Call My Agent!, however, is a show about making movies that actually has a heart – and not in a self-serving Hollywood Golden Age romanticism kind of way.
Agents Andréa (Camille Cottin), Arlette (Liliane Rovère), Gabriel (Grégory Montel), and Mathias (Thibault de Montalembert), are joined this season by guest stars like Charlotte Gainsbourg and Sigourney Weaver at the prestigious (and flailing) ASK talent agency, where their love for film and their clients supersedes all. Watch here for the mishaps and mayhem these agents endure, all in the quest for their ten percent.
