The Best Baguette and Best Croissant Competition Comes to Seattle

article

Great news for Seattle foodies and Francophiles: the Best Baguette and Best Croissant competition, which has been organized by French Morning for many years across major American cities, is coming to Seattle this year!

Get out your calendars: on Sunday, March 23, 2025, the best bakeries in the city will gather at the Seattle Center Armory Food & Event Hall. You’ll be able to taste all their products, including baguettes, croissants, and other delicious specialties. A panel of professional judges will also be on hand to blind-taste croissants and baguettes from all the bakeries, to award the Grand Prix for Seattle’s Best Croissant and Baguette. Tickets can be reserved here.

This event will take place as part of the 13th edition of Seattle’s French Fest, and will be co-organized with France Education Northwest (FEN). The theme of this year’s Seattle’s French Fest is “A Better Climate” (more information on the festival here).
