Meet Brazilian-Parisienne Chanel Model Amanda Sanchez

Some people dream about wearing Chanel for a day. Amanda Sanchez has been doing it for 19 years.

This Brazil native-turned-parisienne is one of Chanel’s in-house models, which means that she is the first person to try on the fashion house’s new creations. In this video from Vogue Paris, we get a peek inside her gorgeous Parisian apartment. “I really wanted it to be quite atypical,” she says of the apartment, which is filled with plants… including one very special “purse tree.” Her candles will take you all over the world, as will her collection of unused ashtrays. “Each object has a personal story,” she says, showing us her extensive array of toys and figurines.

She talks about her love of Chanel, and how Creative Director Virginie Viard actually look some inspiration from Sanchez’s Brazilian style for the new collection. Once again proving that there are never enough ways to be truly Parisian.
