Wanderlust-Inducing Aerial Tour of a French Village at Sunrise

France may have amazing metropolitan cities like Lyon, Marseille, and (of course) Paris, but in many ways, the majority of France is still very rural.

The village of Cantenay-Épinard, a small commune in the Pays de la Loire part of Western France, is an example of one of those beautifully quaint French villages. With a population of less than 2,000, Cantenay-Épinard is nestled between where the Cayenne river and the Sartre river combine to make the Maine river. It’s known for its gorgeous meadows and wetlands.

In every way, Cantenay-Épinard is the perfect picturesque tiny French village to rent a Bed and Breakfast in for a relaxing, gorgeous vacation.

Check out the beautiful village at sunrise in the video above.
