Vote for New York City’s Best Croissant

A pile of fries

You remember our Best Baguette competition, well now it’s time for Best Croissant. Kick-start the competition by helping us, and all of New York, by responding to the question, “where do you find good croissants in NYC?”

Our readers tell us their favorite bakeries (you can nominate up to three); the top 15 will qualify for the final competition, organized on Saturday, January 27, 2018. There, a jury of professionals will perform a blind taste-test of the precious pastries presented by the finalists. You will be able to attend the event, taste the croissants for yourself, and vote for your favorite, while enjoying a giant brunch.

It’s up to you to make  Tell us where you find the best croissants in the New York metropolitan area, wherever you like them best (bakery, café, farmer’s market stand, supermarket, deli, etc.). We will then make sure that the viennoiseries are handmade at that establishment from start to finish, so we know everything about the croissant is their own best croissant. Your preferences are acceptable criteria, whether you like them crispy and flaky or soft with a puffy interior, whether you prefer your neighborhood baker or the ambiance of the bakery. Enter your three favorites below in order of preference to get the competition started! You can enter up to three establishments in order of preference. Vote here or in the form below:
