Food and culture junkies, San Francisco’s Le Dîner is calling your name! Dress in head to toe in your best white for this elegant picnic with thousands of your closest friends. On Saturday, October 7 in San Francisco, you’ll hold your breath in anticipation, waiting for an email revealing the secret location of the ephemeral evening until only 2 hours before its start.
Inspired by the Dîner en blanc of Parisian origin that’s now swept the globe, friends gather together over a picnic basket meal and wine, under whatever decorations they’ve brought for their table. Besides the pleasure of dinner outside in good company, Le Dîner has another objective: offer the opportunity to DIY masters, decorators, and chefs to express their creativity in what they can do to make their table unique. Participants must be at least 21 years old, and present ID at the entrance.
