There are great bakers in Washington, D.C.- and we’re out to prove it!
Here at French Morning, we are working with Washingtonian Magazine and the French Embassy of the U.S. to organize the Best Capital Baguette competition, to decide once and for all who makes the best baguettes in D.C.
The event was inspired by the similar competitions run by French Morning in New York and Miami. Up until August 7th, anyone can vote here for their favorite baguette.
The bakers who receive the most votes will be invited to participate in a grand finale event on Thursday, September 29th at the French Embassy (registry will be on the website soon). There, a panel will choose the best baguette. The winner will then have the opportunity to become the official baker of the ambassador’s residence.
