Brooklyn’s favorite French girl is large and in charge, hot off the release of her new self-titled beauty collection, Violette_FR. And she’s just announced a new pop-up for the collection, which up until now was only available to order online.
Violette’s more than 400K Instagram followers have been going wild for the eleven products in this carefully-curated collection. “I wanted to create products people don’t have,” she said in a recent interview with Vogue, partially in response to fears that her minimalist approach might compete with her former business daddies, Estēe Lauder (where she served as Global Beauty Director) and Dior Beauty (which named her their youngest ever international makeup designer in 2012). She has spent the past few years building up an extensive YouTube following with accessible videos that emphasize makeup as a tool for self-care rather than self-correction. So when her collection dropped, it’s no wonder that the Internet celebrated her as the next coming of French Girl Style.
Among the coveted products (designed in her new office in the Brooklyn Navy Yard) are Petal Bouche Matte (“the only red lipstick you’ll ever need”), a variety of vibrant liquid metallic eyeshadows called Yeux Paint, and an all-in-one (but hardly of the drugstore variety) toner/serum/moisturizer called Boum Boum Milk.
This afternoon, Violette announced via Instagram that her pop-up shop will run from June 12-22, 11AM – 7PM, at 125 Greene Street in Soho. So if you’ve been wanting to check these products out, they are literally coming to you.
