As Paris and New York begin what may be a Hundred Years Burger War,  boeuf bourguignon and blanquette de veau were named France’s favorite traditional dishes, according to a new survey by Opinion-Way and Printemps de l’Optimise,

Both dishes received 31% in the second round of voting—where those surveyed were given a choice between the first round’s top four write-ins—with boeuf bourguignon edging out blanquette de veau by one vote.

The results were the same across all age groups, genders, and socio-economic statuses.
