Tour Mont Blanc from the Comfort of Your Armchair
Google has brought Street View to France’s most famous summit: Mont Blanc.
For those of us who aren’t willing to stomp up a big pile of snow just to get vertigo at the top, Google has ditched its camera-festooned car and partnered with climbers and photographers to put together as good a Street View of Mont Blanc as you’re ever going to get.
They’ve even put together a terribly sexy video about the Mont Blanc Massif and the cataloguing project.
