At this stage in human and geological history, managing climate change is a race against time: can we act fast enough to avoid a collapse of civilization?

It’s this question that Bill McKibben, American author, environmental activist and coordinator of the 2019 Festival Albertine, will attempt to answer from Friday, November 8 to Sunday, November 10.

On the agenda are three days of discussions between intellectuals, politicians, activists and citizen actors to discuss the urgency for action, environmental justice, local politics, consumption, food production and the motivation to change our habits.
