The Genius of Pierre Cardin on Display at the Brooklyn Museum

Even at 97 years old, Pierre Cardin never ceases to fascinate the world. From July 20, 2019, to January 5, 2020, the Brooklyn Museum is dedicating an exceptional exhibition to him: “Pierre Cardin: Future Fashion.”

This is the first New York retrospective dedicated to the famous French fashion designer in forty years. It will gather more than 170 pieces from his workshops and archives: haute-couture pieces, materials from the 1950s, some of his legendary creations, accessories, photographs and other elements from the universe of the Italian-born businessman. All this will be presented in an evocative environment styled like Pierre Cardin’s workshops, showrooms and houses.
