The ‘Friends’ Couch Will Be in Paris on September 12

A store in a living room

France may not get its own “Friends” pop-up like New York, but the country’s capital will be getting something else: the “Friends” couch.

In honor of the 25th anniversary of the release of the TV show “Friends,” 30 replicas of the show’s famous orange couch — featured in the theme song and located in the coffee shop hang-out, The Central Perk — will travel around the world, from Los Angeles, California to Sydney, Australia and Tokyo, Japan.

The couch will be in Paris on September 12 at the Jardin du Palais-Royal. To prepare for its arrival, we recommend rewatching “The One Where Joey Speaks French” (season 10, episode 13).
