Paris Fashion Week concluded on Wednesday for the Women’s Fall/Winter 2021/2022 collections, and the highlights are here, courtesy of ELLE Nederland Creative Director Esther Coppoolse.

PFW continued in a digital fashion, with the houses seemingly optimistic about a near return to normalcy, with many hopeful that this season’s collections will actually be worn in public when their time comes. Strong moments included items like a pair of fuchsia Chanel overalls, and some aggressive floral prints from Acne Studios. Miu Miu and Marine Serre incorporated face masks into their looks, as many designers have over the last year, with Miu Miu opting for a crocheted hat/scarf/mask contraption, and Marine Serre going for a power-clashing silk scarf mask that reached almost to the knees. Louis Vuitton took over the Louvre, while Chloé quite literally took to the streets of Paris, playing with locations outside of the typical runway.

So while the rest of us watch all of this glamor from the comfort of our sweatpants, it might be time to start thinking about what we’ll all be wearing come fall.
