French Morning‘s Speak Easy event returns on November 23rd, giving anglophones in New York City a chance to practice their French with native francophones and vice versa.
Here’s how it works: the equally divided attendees are paired off for 14 minutes; for the first seven, they speak in English; for the second seven, they speak French; at the end of the session, everyone switches partners. It’s a free-flowing, open forum for the exchange of languages between English and French speakers. All while drinking and dining!
This event will take place at Opia Restaurant at the Renaissance New York Hotel (130 East 57th Street) from 6:30-8:30pm on November 23rd. Ticket price covers cocktails and appetizers, and they sell out quickly, so get yours now! Speakeasy is a joint event from French Morning, Fluent City, and Accueil New York.
