Around the world in four wines (days). On Wednesday, October 11, the Sofitel New York’s restaurant, Gaby Brasserie Française, will host the Sofitel World Tour of Wine. Lovers of wine (and good food) will be able to enjoy an evening of vin and canapés. Two price points are offered: one including two red wines, two white wines, and a selection of canapés, and another pricier option of unlimited wine and canapé tasting.
On the menu: five wine and accompanying food selections, each corresponding to a different geographical area (France, South America, Europe, North America, Australia/New Zealand). Each region’s menu features four wines (two reds, two whites) that come from the designated region. The wines have been selected by chef Robert Hohmann and wine specialist Nicolas Blanc. This event is part of the Sofitel Wine Days, which runs until October 31.
