Miss Universe 2017 Iris Mittenaere is living the American dream. At age 24, this dental-student-turned-pageant-queen is spending her year with the crown living in New York City, sharing an apartment on Fifth Avenue with Miss America 2016, Deshauna Barber.
We know that Mittenaere loves New York (and all the food) from when French Morning had an interview back in February. After a few months in the Big Apple, we want to know which she likes better: croissants or donuts? French Morning caught up with Mittenaere in Central Park to ask her six questions for the Six in the City video series.
She still misses her French croissants aux amandes dearly, but America’s yellow cabs beat Parisian taxis! “I’m a big fan of yellow cabs,” she gushes. “Every time I take one, I feel like I’m on an amusement park ride.”
