Cassoulet is a traditional dish from the South of France. It hasn’t taken changed a bit since its invention in the Middle Ages, but honestly we don’t want it to. Rich and deeply flavorful, chock full of sausage and beans, Rougié’s Cassoulet simmers at a low heat for many hours in the same fashion as the traditional French recipe. Ingredients include meat, sausage, goose, duck, and white beans.
The Rougié brand was founded in the South of France in 1875. The brand quickly became a leader in the production of foie gras and all specialties related to duck, both in France and Canada.
