Paris reeealllyyy wants to host the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. They’ve been making promotional videos with the Eiffel Tower, kid athletes, middle schoolers, and feel-good voiceovers about sharing.

Not only is it the city’s fourth time making a bid to host the games, but it’s also been a grand total of 100 years since Paris held the Olympics. (1924 was the last time they hosted, and the soonest they can host is 2024.) The city needs this!

And we need it, too. Because what better place to host the Olympics than in Paris? First of all, it’s a gorgeous setting (I mean, a triathlon around the Eiffel Tower? The world needs this.) Second of all, the athletes will probably get extra strength from carbo-loading croissants. What else is there really?

To highlight how great a city they are to host the Olympics (and to show that they’re better than Los Angeles who also reeallllyyy wants to host the 2024 games), Paris is holding two Olympic days of sport, on June 23 and 24, to give the world an overview of what Paris 2024 Olympic Games could look like.
