A city notorious for shutting down early is finally staying up a little later.
On May 25, the Paris Night Market debuts in Parc de la Villette. The market will open at 5pm and close at midnight (okay so it’s not that late, but it’s certainly later than many places stay open).
Other than being someplace open late that’s free to get in to, the appeal is in the market’s offerings: 100% local products. Whether it’s clothing, jewelry, street food, pastries, or beauty products, it’s all Made in France. (The first mozzarella made in Paris will be for sale there!) Paris is also leaning in to activism, featuring creators of eco-friendly products, environmentally sustainable goods, and organic foods.
