Paris Cocktail Week returns January 20-27

Background pattern

“Tout Paris est un cocktail.” A cocktail of two parts culture, two parts passion, and one part alcohol. (Okay, maybe two parts alcohol.)

Back for the fourth year, Paris Cocktail Week makes the city a thrifty socialite’s paradise by offering special discounted cocktails at 75 bars throughout the city, from January 20-27.

By downloading a (free) pass from their site, you can get 30% off the bar’s two special Paris Cocktail Week house concoctions. Flash the pass when you enter any of the participating locations from 6pm-10pm to receive the discount.

Because Paris Cocktail Week is in fact about consuming alcohol responsibly, there are non-alcoholic mixes available as well. On site at the bars, the week’s coordinators promote the idea that drinkers should “consume less to consume better” by presenting information about safely consuming alcohol, indicating the nearby public transit and taxi options, and providing breathalyzer tests to find out how buzzed you really are.

Try a cocktail class to keep your crafty consuming going even after the week ends. See the class list and sign up here. See the map of bars here.
