The seasonal Paris-Oakland (CDG-OAK) route offered by Norwegian Airlines will be moving its United States stop to the San Francisco airport (SFO) this fall.

In a statement, Norwegian says that travelers “concerned about their wallets can reach the city center in just 30 minutes by metro (BART) for a few dollars.”

From October 28, 2019, to March 27, 2020, the low-cost airline will offer two flights a week between France and California, with new schedules. Departures from its base in Paris-CDG will be scheduled for Mondays at 3:20 p.m. (arrival at 5:40 p.m.) and Fridays at 9:20 a.m. (arrival at 11:40 a.m.), with flights leaving San Francisco airport on Wednesdays and Sundays at 1:40 p.m. (arrival the next day at 9:20 a.m.).

A one-way economy ticket starts as low as $219.90, including taxes, and a one-way premium ticket starts at $709.90.

Norwegian had already moved the London-Gatwick to Oakland flight to the San Francisco airport at the end of March. The same change will be made at the end of October from Barcelona.
