Marseille Trivia with Crashed Ice Skaters

How much do you know about France’s second city?

Assuming, of course, that you don’t have any Lyonnaise blood in you, most people regard the ancient port city of Marseille as numéro deux when it comes to geographic concentrations of French people. Right after the one with the Eiffel Tower and the giant cathedral and all that. In fact, even the French national anthem isn’t called “Le Parisien,” but, “La Marseillaise.”

In this video, Red Bull’s Crashed Ice team boards a boat on the port of Marseille and gets quizzed on their Marseille trivia. And the loser will be forced to… eat some French cheese? An odd punishment, but let’s disregard that. Crashed Ice is an intense corporate-sponsored skating sport called ice cross downhill. Red Bull brings skaters to parts of the world not necessarily known for their cold weather (like Marseille), and engages them in the cities they are competing in, in order to turn the sport into an all-inclusive traveling experience.
