The French spoof adventure spy movie “That Man From Rio” is making a come back on New York’s silver screens for its 50th anniversary.

The film, presented by the Cohen Media Group, will be shown for one week from August 22 at Film Forum in Hudson Square.

Jean-Paul Belmondo and Françoise Dorléac star as the two main characters who are investigating the theft of an Amazon figurine from the Museum of Man in Paris until Agnes (Dorléac) gets kidnapped. Private Adrien Dufourquet (Belmondo) only has one week until the end of his leave to solve these mysteries. Question is: will Belmondo make it back in time?

This farcical spy film is sure to make you giggle and remains a fine example of French cinematographic prowess.  Screening will take place from the 22nd to the 28th of August on 209 West Houston street (West of 6th Avenue).
