Make the Ultimate French Burger: Boeuf Bourguinon

Once I tried Alex’s guide to cheeseboards and realized how easy his instructions are, I just can’t seem to quit his Alex French Guy Cooking YouTube channel.

With summer hot on the horizon, I’m drooling for this boeuf bourguignon burger on a red plastic plate with a side of hot, skinny fries. By doing a mash-up recipe of something Americans love (burgers) and something French people love (French cooking) Alex has made the ultimate Franco-American food that can be enjoyed on both sides of the Atlantic.

Alex gives helpful, detailed instructions, like how to pick the right cut of beef and what kind of red wine to use. Since the beef, sauce, and veggies have to marinate over night and require another few hours to cook on the stove (if you don’t have a pressure cooker), this is a great low-cost-but-looks-fancy meal for a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Check out his video above.
