Life As A Surfer On The French Coast

The South of France gives some serious #Wanderlust vibes, especially for a professional surfer.

Arthur Bourbon is a French surfer born on the French Caribbean island of Guadeloupe. When he was 15 years old, he moved to the South of France to become a professional surfer. Now, he travels the world surfing.

“Surfing is obviously a big part of my life, it brings me so many good things,” says Bourbon. “Even if I have a bad day, as soon as I get in the water I feel better.”

Bourbon also loves doing photography and takes photos wherever he travels. It seems natural that he would be drawn to that, considering there is nothing more beautiful than the French coast, where he wakes up at dawn to go surfing every morning.

Watching Bourbon smoothly ride waves against the backdrop of a pink and purple French sky will make you want to quit your job and head to France, even if you’ve never touched a surfboard in your life. I know I’m planning my next vacation.
