Journalist, documentary maker, singer, musician… Juliette Armanet has done it all. But for now, Armanet’s focus is totally consumed by her music, which is good news for us, since her voice is as enchanting as a siren song, and her compositions equally melancholy, beautiful and captivating.
Inspired by her parents, Armanet has spent her life constantly moving from one thing to another. She has directed documentaries, worked on the radio, and been a journalist. Just this year, however, Armanet fully devoted herself to her music and released an EP called “Cavalier Seule” with four songs, and an album cover in which she is half-woman, half-mare with a horse’s tail coming out of her jeans. She sings, plays piano and has gorgeously creative, if a little out there, music videos. Now, she has just released a new single, “L’amour en Solitaire,” which she performed live for Vevo Dscvr France.
