Father and son directors Daniel and Emmanuel Leconte’s new documentary, Je Suis Charlie: L’Humour À Mort, will be released by Netflix on the anniversary of the attacks on the Charlie Hebdo offices this Thursday.
Featuring archival footage of Hebdo staff members slain in the attacks, the documentary aims to contextualize the three days of attacks last January within a larger history of French satire.
