Hype Market in Cannes Highlights Young Artists

A man holding a sign

In Cannes, young artists are getting a chance to show off their stuff.

At Hype Market, a flea market specifically for young artists from ages 14 to 25, artists can sell their creations and get their name out there.

First initiated by David Lisnard, the mayor of Cannes, Hype Market provides a space for young artists to gain notoriety for their hard work, as well as make a little money so that they can continue to make art.

From t-shirts, to paintings, pottery, jewelry, and colorful shoes, these young artists are making everything you could ever want. Not only does Hype Market allow artists to sell their creations, but there is also a space for young performers to sing, rap, dance, and act in front of an audience.
