If you’re reading this now, you’ve probably read a number of articles on types of French guys you’ll probably date, the best things about dating a French guy, or even what it’s like to get married to a French guy.
This is going to be a little different. The cross-cultural explorers over at Dating Beyond Borders have brought you a new video explaining just what it’s like to date a Québeçois (or French-Canadian) guy, covering everything from the fun to the frustrating. Basically, the prototype is simple: the bro likes beer, cars, and camping. And no, glamping doesn’t count. He’s perfectly comfortable in sub-zero weather conditions, loves women who make the first move, and if you’re a Metropolitan French speaker, you might have a bit of trouble understanding him. (There’s a whole section on Québeçois slang.)
