“I like to think that my vintage clothes had a story, and that the people who wore them had a feeling about them, and that I sort of take that over by buying them.”

Camille Yolaine is a writer for Rouje, the fashion and beauty company run by everyone’s favorite French girl, Jeanne Damas. In this video, which is in French but you can put on English subtitles, she talks about her “schizophrenic” relationship with fashion, and the way she vacillates between wild prints and simple, classic styles. But no matter what, you’ll never see her in a pair of flats. Other topics include her favorite fripe in Paris (Episode), her mom’s favorite dress, and why she loves vintage clothes.
