So it turns out that you don’t have to break the bank to be fancy and French.
It’s a common misconception that a really good bottle of wine will make a sizable dent in your savings account. But according to a blind tasting survey, half of wine drinkers can’t even tell the difference between expensive wine and cheap wine. And even if they can tell the difference, most people prefer the cheaper wine!
As for the experts? Even they can’t agree on what the best wine is. Most wine judging competitions are pretty inconsistent.
So the next time you’re in the wine shop deciding between the more expensive rosé with the fancy label and the less expensive rosé with a tacky name like, “No way, rosé!” just remember… you might not be able to tell the difference anyway.
