Break out your best beret for the 15th annual Georgetown French Market, from Friday, April 27, to Sunday, April 29th. Georgetown will be transformed for the occasion into an open-air celebration of France’s colors, complete with live music.

This free event will take place along Wisconsin Avenue between O Street and Reservoir Road in Georgetown’s Book Hill neighborhood, whose “shops evoke the charms of Paris,” according to a 2013 Washington Post article. More than 40 exhibitors will participate in this year’s festivities including antique shops, restaurants, hair salons, and galleries, who will all be offering their products and services at reduced rates.

Local restaurants will also offer French specialities and dishes, including sweet and savory crêpes, grilled saucisses, merguez, pastries, and macarons, while children will enjoy facepainting and fun activities.
