Frenchly Presents “Experience New York EN VRAI”

It’s about time you did something different in the evenings.

Picture this, an old warehouse door on a dark Chelsea street. You ring the bell, nervously—is this the right address?—but no sooner have you pulled out your phone to double check, you’re buzzed up. Once inside the building, a historical landmark reminiscent of a 20’s speakeasy—the space is electric, and personal. Exit the elevator, head to suite 300; a large room with hardwood floors, old industrial windows. Movies are projected onto expansive walls. This is Unarthodox, part of New York’s underground art scene. A place where intimate, unique art classes are held over a bottle of wine.

And now, thanks to Frenchly, you can take immersive language learning to a whole new level.

Inspired by the success of our Speak Easy events, Frenchly is hosting a new kind of Franco-American monthly meet-up, “New York EN VRAI”. In a mixed audience of 50% French and 50% Americans, we’ll introduce you to new and exciting places and activities around New York, while you converse in French with French expats living in NYC.

On Monday, January 23rd, at 7:00pm, for the debut of Experience New York EN VRAI, we selected “sculpture without sight” at Unarthodox. It’s a sculpture class that you take with—you guessed it—a blindfold on.

So straighten-out your Metro Cards, ye jaded New Yorkers, and wipe the snowy-salt marks off your shoes. It’s resolution season. The time to meet new people, try a new activity, and get fluent in 2017 is now.

Sign up below, and we’ll see you there.
