After a successful Valentine’s Day pop-up, French Wink has made plans for Father’s Day. For the group’s second NYC pop-up store, this online market of “Made in France” products moves into the Salon pour Hommes Martial Vivot (across from MoMA) from Tuesday, June 13 to Saturday, June 17. Perfect timing for those in need of a Father’s Day gift.

The theme of this ephemeral store will be “The Man and the Sea” or “l’homme et la mer”. Products by the celebrated, nautical clothing brand Saint-James, leather accessories by Ulyss, sweet treats by La Cure Gourmande, and many other brands will stocks the shelves.

Co-creators Myline Descamps and Claire Obry envisioned French Wink as an online version of a pop-up store, highlighting quality products by “Made in France” brands. Having a real life pop-up store every now and then is fun and good for the store, seeing as their work is very much “bricks and clicks,” according to Obry.

French Wink will also be presenting the “Dark Sea” painting series by Carole Jury. Exclusively for this occasion, the French artist created canvases inspired by the ocean, its dark and moody colors, and its variations of light and texture. The French bookstore Albertine will also be involved, offering a selection of books and graphic novels around the sailor theme of this Father’s Day pop-up.

Round-trip business class tickets from Paris to New York on Air France will be raffled off during the week.

French Wink will be back again before the end of the year, just before Christmas, with plans for a holiday “Made in France” store.
