French vs. American Girl Style

There are a few subtle differences between the way French girls and American girls act.

Okay, maybe they’re not so subtle…

A kale smoothie might be the new American breakfast, but French girls will never part from their love of a morning croissant. And love at first sight might mean “he’s the father of my children” for a French girl, but an American girl is frankly too busy for a relationship at this point in her life.

To help decode the nuances of French and American style differences is French-American model Camille Rowe who grew up in both Paris and Brooklyn. Not only is Rowe able to switch flawlessly back and forth between French and English, her disposition also switches easily from the more laid back French personality to the hectic do-it-all American girl temperament.

I found myself identifying with a little bit of both the French girl and the American girl style that Rowe presents. I don’t try very hard to give directions to tourists and related on a very personal level to the French girl piling cookies in her arms while bragging about her cooking skills. But when it comes to taking selfies? I’m pretty shameless.
