French Singer Jain Plays in New York in April

As part of her American tour, French rising star Jain plans to touch down in New York and Brooklyn in April 2017.

A three-time nominee of the French Victoires de la Musique awards, including one for “Female Artist of the Year”, Jain will light up the stages at the Bowery Ballroom, and the Music Hall of Williamsburg on Thursday, April 6th and Saturday, April 8th respectively.

Jain’s meteoric rise has burned fast and hot. A short year since the viral release of her first album “Zanaka”, downloaded more than 210,000 times, Jain is making a splash on the international scene with her unique blend of reggae and electro-pop. Top hits include the opening track “Come”, and “Makeba”, which is dedicated to the South African activist Miriam Makeba, a key figure in African-American civil rights.

According to an interview given to Pure Charts, Jain–protégée of Yodelice–has announced plans for unveiling a new, totally different sound. She is currently working on her second album.
