Heads-up, East Coast chanson-lovers: legendary French singer Charles Aznavour, who turned 90 in May, is coming to the US and has added a New York stop to his tour on September 20th at Madison Square Garden.
Dubbed the French Frank Sinatra, Aznavour already has a 70-year career to look back on with more than a thousand recordings, hundreds of millions of albums sold and 60 films to his credit. He’ll be in LA a week before he takes the Big Apple, keeping a rich tradition of French crooners alive with a tour schedule that rivals stars generations younger than himself.
