It was just a year and a half ago when three explosions went off outside of the Stade de France, at the start of one of the worst terrorist attacks France has seen.

Since the November attacks, both France and England have suffered from terrorism. And while politicians constantly argue over what to do about the problem, the French and English people have come together in support of each other.

At the England vs. France soccer match at Stade de France last week, in a show of unity between the two teams, French and British fans sang Oasis’ “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” a signature song of the English rock band, to remember the victims of the Manchester and London bridge attacks. The Republican Guard band played along from the field.
